Mystery Readers!

Today was a special day for us at Goddard School–Brandon and I got to be Mystery Readers for Brian’s class!  Different parents took turns reading some of their child’s favorites for the class this week.  Brian was pretty surprised when it was our turn!  We brought in two of his favorites, Punk Farm and Punk Farm on Tour.  Brandon read the original and I read the sequel.  I made a video of Brandon reading, since he does such a great job with it!  🙂   After the books, we played...

Farm Day!

Today was another school-family partnership day for Brian’s class at Root!  This time, Brian and I drove out to NC State’s Animal Science center.  It was a decent drive outside the city, and as we were bumping along the fields (they had us drive right out into the pastures to park), Brian commented that we were really going out to the farm!  We walked through the fields to the barns, and quickly met up with Ms. Sarah Catherine and Ms. Misty.  It was looking like rain, and...

It’s Picture Day!

It’s picture day at Goddard!  Kendall was looking so cute in her dress with her matching hair bow.  I was a bit concerned that even with getting their photos made upon arrival, they would manage to get disheveled by then, but it went well, and I think the pictures will be just fine.  🙂  After school, we saw the dragon that Brian’s class made last month out on display in the lobby.  He had told us about it, and how his class did a parade all around the school carrying it, but we...
