Brian’s Heart (and his Angry Birds)
At school, it’s pretty common for the teachers to put up displays with the kids’ answers to questions, like their favorite food, favorite movie, etc. Since Valentine’s Day is coming up, the kids all have hearts on the wall outside their classroom saying what they love. I was so touched, Brian listed his family! (Not all the kids listed such sweet, brag-worthy things for their hearts! I am pretty proud of my kiddo for this!) Brandon and I both noticed Brian’s heart...

Brandon and I just love Kendall’s penguin pajamas, and today we thought we’d let her play on the penguin blanket I made her. We had some leftovers from Guasaca for dinner, and Kendall is all about the avocado. She very clearly asked me for one of the containers, so I handed it to her.. She promptly put it on her head and modeled her hat for me! She was so proud of herself. I also decided to let her have a couple of spice cookies for dessert, and wow–she...

Brandon took the kids to Lake Lynn for a bike and stroller trip today. He did this to give me a break and let me catch up on some things (like this blog, for which I am still weeks behind. Ahem.) 😉 Brian was disappointed that the bread to feed the ducks was forgotten, but we’ll be back again soon. 🙂 Looks like some sea gulls came to...
