Picture Day (and tooth #3)
Today we had some family pictures made–all 4 of us this time! That was a pretty exhausting endeavor, and my nerves were beyond shot by the end of it. The girl wreaked havoc as usual, screaming bloody murder and leaving a wake of destruction as she rampaged through the studio. “KENDALL SMASH!” doesn’t even begin to cover how this girl behaves on picture day. Brian was super happy this morning to discover more treasure! This time he received a Kennedy 50-cent piece and a golden Sacajawea dollar. He was pretty impressed! He’s been talking about “golden” this and that, so the Sacajawea was a big hit. I have it on good authority that the Tooth Fairy will be going international next time. 😉 Our chalk birthday decorations are fading, but now it’s time to get ready for Halloween! Not even two weeks after the first one, Brian lost his second tooth today! Now he’s missing both of his top front teeth. Poor kid, I’m sure he’s going to be in for a ton of “All I Want For Christmas” jokes. 😉 So that he’ll know what it’s about, I showed him a few videos on YouTube of the song. Brian was so happy this morning–the Tooth Fairy had brought him some cool coins! He got an Eisenhower dollar and a Susan B. Anthony–we think it’s because the eagle is landing on the moon on the tails side, and the Tooth Fairy must know he’s into space, what with the rocket ship tooth pillow. 😉 He spent a lot of time just looking at his “treasure” in the morning sunlight. He decided to keep his coins in his new treasure box that he’d painted earlier....
