Curriculum Night

Tonight was curriculum night at Goddard, where us parents got to learn all about what Kendall will be learning this year, and the kids got to play outside on the playground.  Brian and Kendall were off and running as soon as they hit the playground!  I loved finding the cute photos of Kendall from the day they made s’mores at school.  She had told me about that, just bouncing with excitement–and you can see how excited she was in the moment! 🙂  Brandon had to go to the grocery...

Cookie Party, Brian’s Cardboard Creations

This afternoon, there was a cookie party at Goddard School–the kids got to decorate cookies with colorful icing and sprinkles.  They even made one for me!  Brian brought home some of his creations from his Crazy for Cardboard camp at Marbles.  He finished up his triangular building at home–he worked hard to make it just as he imagined it, and was pretty proud of the way it turned out.  The other big thing he called his “Boom Box”–he imagined it like a big...

Goddard Science Fair

Goddard School had a science fair this evening!  We enjoyed some snacks and then visited each classroom to see what they had made.  The kids loved the Creamy Coconut Play-Doh and the slime in Kendall’s class the best!  Kendall wanted to wash her hands pretty soon after playing with the slime....
