This afternoon, there was a cookie party at Goddard School–the kids got to decorate cookies with colorful icing and sprinkles. They even made one for me! Brian brought home some of his creations from his Crazy for Cardboard camp at Marbles. He finished up his triangular building at home–he worked hard to make it just as he imagined it, and was pretty proud of the way it turned out. The other big thing he called his “Boom Box”–he imagined it like a big speakerbox. At bedtime he was still playing with both, and he wanted me to make music come out of the boom box–instead I showed him how he could put a flashlight behind it, so the light could come out of the many holes he’d made, and the resulting light show impressed us both!
