Inside Out!
Today was the last day of Brian’s “Science Fun for Everyone” camp, and they had a fun Diet Coke & Mentos exhibition! Brandon and I couldn’t get there, but Grandma Sue did, and sent us these pictures. Looks like it was a lot of fun! Kendall had a splash day today, always exciting for her. Tonight we took the kids to see the new Disney/Pixar movie, Inside Out! After months of hype, we had our hopes up–and, we weren’t disappointed! Lots of funny...

Whew! Today was a long one. It started off with a Lowes Build and Grow for Brian, where he made a sweet Avenjet (the Avengers’ jet) with Iron Man. Later, we were off to the airport to start our trip to Colorado! The kids were super pumped up, and the free goodie bags the Fast Park & Ride folks gave them made it that much more exciting. Getting to the flight-line wasn’t bad with the shuttle-bus. But, after the Thunderbirds performed, there was such a rush to leave that it...

It’s Star Wars Day with the Durham Bulls, so of course we had to be there! This year’s jerseys were C-3PO themed (I have to admit, I liked the R2-D2 ones from last year a lot more.) We all wore our own Star Wars t-shirts to celebrate. The game was pretty fun, but I think the kids were more excited about the sno-cones and Star Wars gimmicks....

I was home with Kendall today, since Goddard had a teacher workday. We played at home, doing puzzles, watching My Little Pony.. I tried to work some of the day, but we did sneak out at lunchtime to go to the mall. I surprised Kendall with a trip to Build A Bear, to make a Princess Luna to go along with her Princess Celestia (they’re sisters, after all!) Afterward, we got a smoothie, which clearly Kendall enjoyed quite a bit!...
