Valentine’s Day
Happy Valentine’s Day! We had a lot of fun today. The kids had some surprises and cards when they woke up! Brian had a Lowe’s Build and Grow to attend, and made a heart-flower photo holder. Nana Rosemary came by with a lot of cute donuts. She and the kids made some crayon-resist watercolor Valentines. Kendall was looking quite festive for her classroom’s Valentine party today! I was able to join her for the afternoon gathering. She loved those cupcakes with the heart sprinkles, and sitting with her best friend Canady! We came home a little early and worked on a fun craft project–felt Valentine heart faces! We went to see the Lego Movie again! This time we brought Kendall along as well for a matinee showing. It was just as good the second time, and Kendall seemed to really get into it! Also included, silly Brian with fried-egg eyes, some of Brian’s valentine cards that he made us, Kendall actually eating some spinach (!) at Noodle & Company, a paper-and-glue plane that Brian and I made, and the kids riding plasma cars in the garage. Okay, we are all completely, totally, and utterly over the snow. I’m hoping we’re done with it for the year. Today we mostly spent the day at home, just playing with the kids.
