Today we had some family pictures made–all 4 of us this time! That was a pretty exhausting endeavor, and my nerves were beyond shot by the end of it. The girl wreaked havoc as usual, screaming bloody murder and leaving a wake of destruction as she rampaged through the studio. “KENDALL SMASH!” doesn’t even begin to cover how this girl behaves on picture day. So, we’ll see how they turn out in a couple of weeks. I honestly can’t remember what the previews even looked like.. If there are any smiles, at least half of us are smiling through the tears! 😉 Brian liked the Monsters U plush toys he saw in the store. After ordering the prints, I had to walk through the kids’ clothing section (hmm, it’s almost like they set up the store that way on purpose!) I remembered that Brian needed a new hoodie for the fall, especially now that the days are getting a little crisp. I found some that I thought he’d really enjoy, a Darth Vader costume hoodie, and a red Angry Birds one! Then, I saw some plush Cars slippers like the ones we gave Brian last year (and that Kendall is currently obsessed with). I thought I’d pick up a pair for her, so she could have her own. But, as I found out this evening, her brother’s slippers are still way more interesting! She could care less about hers. Maybe even more than the slippers, Kendall is really into Brian’s firefighter boots. She played with them this morning and this evening! We had some hockey/baseball time together, and Brian and I had some Lego time while Kendall napped, and even played a little Just Dance 4 since it had been awhile. Tonight Brian lost his third tooth! He was pretty amazed at how tiny it is. I’m surprised by how many teeth he’s losing, so close together! But you know, that Tooth Fairy, she’s always prepared. 😉
