Today Brian starts his Rocketry Camp at Wakefield! Huge, gigantic thanks to Grandma Sue and Grandpa Steve for the hookup on getting Brian into this camp–we couldn’t have done it without them (and their membership)! Even more thanks to Steve and Sue for meeting us at Goddard to pick up Brian each morning this week–that really saves us a ton of commuting time! After Grandmother’s funeral, Mandy and I were talking about how sad it’d be if all the family photos got divided up, when we could use technology to share them with everyone. I offered to scan the whole collection, and Mandy said she’d help, too! Everyone agreed to our plan, and held off on dividing up the photos for awhile. This morning, the kids both went to the Lowes Build and Grow session, and made a cool Turbo pull-back toy! We weren’t familiar with Turbo, but found the movie on Netflix afterward, and watched it with lunch! Pretty cute. Brian finished up basketball camp today, and while I think he had some fun, I’m pretty sure it’s not tops on his list of camps. He didn’t like the not-air-conditioned gym at Laurel Hills, and the instructors didn’t look much older than the participants, so I expect it was Lord of the Flies in there, at least some of the time–it sure looked like barely-controlled chaos to me!
