Today was “dress like a superhero” day at Goddard, and we pulled together this Supergirl outfit for Kendall at the last possible second, using one of Brian’s old undershirts and a red playsilk. At school, Kendall was surprised to find Ms. Robin also dressed as Supergirl! They had to pose for a photo together....

Today Kendall went to a birthday party for her friend Trace. It was at one of those indoor play/bouncy places, so Brandon was on duty (I can’t stand the noise in those places, not to mention how every surface manages to feel sticky..) This afternoon, both kids used their new colored pencils, a souvenir from the Netherlands that Nana brought back. Brian wanted to make a picture of tulips like on the box, and asked me to find him some photos like that (I’ve included some below)....

We started off our Saturday with a loaf of lemon bread, yum! Brian stepped out for awhile today to go to his friend Anderson’s birthday party. Nana and Sytse are back from their trip abroad, and they came by for a visit this evening.
