Trader Joe’s Treats
Brian has decided he loves Trader Joe’s. 🙂 Maybe it’s the great deals on delicious healthy food, or maybe it’s the stickers he gets from the checkout person. Either way, it’s always a good time. Today he’s loving the chocolate cat cookies and the yogurt cups. Kendall was really into the toy radio today, she would turn it on, dance a little, and then throw it over her shoulder and walk away. Then, she’s bring it back and start over again. This game...

Today we were glad to leave work a little early to attend the Ice Cream Social at Goddard School! We all got to choose our flavors and then played in the Pre-K 1 classroom for awhile. We built a great block castle–the kids really enjoyed knocking it down....

This morning I found Brian had arranged all of his Star Wars figures around himself! He managed to hop out without knocking any over. 🙂 Tonight, Brandon and I went to a concert at Red Hat Amphitheater to see the Killers. It was a good show, and we’re really grateful to Steve and Sue for picking up the kids and keeping them for us so that we could...

Woo! It was another big day at Marbles Kids Museum. It was Goddard School day, so our admission was covered (sweet!) Also there’s a new healthy eating exhibit sponsored by the Goddard School, so that was cool to see. Our school’s owners were there, and lots of familiar faces from school. Brian was super excited that Ty was there, and they played together most of the time. Kendall enjoyed pretty much everything, the kitchen and the ambulance were highlights. Brian and Ty...

It’s Saturday! Our Saturdays are fairly busy these days, with Brian’s reading class in the morning and skating lessons in the afternoon. Today in class we did “Where The Wild Things Are”–always a good time. The kids had their own wild rumpus, and Brian won a round of name bingo (he was pretty excited!) After class we walked around the courtyard a bit, and Brian collected leaves to put in his leaf collection. He likes to collect leaves so much, we’ve...

It’s Friday, it’s time to party! Even before school, the kids were ready to play. They pulled out so many toys before I even got downstairs..! Kendall was very silly with her bagel, enthusiastically getting blueberry cream cheese all over her face. Brian somehow managed to get a cookie, and celebrated that he had the king (what can I say, he loves the Chessmen.) After school, Brian said he wanted to go to the “place where I get to circle pictures of what I want with...
