This morning, Brian finally got his long-awaited haircut! I got to stay home and play with Kendall. She was such a cutie, really getting into playing with her wooden Christmas cookies! When the boys were back, we got ready to go see Granny Jo (Great-Granny for the kids!) Kendall was cute in her velvet dress with holly embroidery! She managed to sneak in a little block time before we needed to leave. Brian wasn’t feeling wearing anything festive, so Jabba the Hut it was. 😉 We headed over to Spring Arbor, and had a nice lunch and visit. Oh, and cake. Lots of cake. 😉 The kids were fairly high-energy after that, and we ended up taking a walk around the halls. I thought the kids were so funny walking the same way, with their hands clasped behind their backs. They ended up singing “Jingle Bells” at top volume for a good chunk of our walk–I hope we didn’t bother anyone, but most of the residents seemed to really enjoy their hijinks! Kendall got so many compliments for being such a cutie. When we made it back to the party room, the kids caught up with Granny a little bit–Kendall liked her soft Santa quite a bit! Once things wrapped up, we went back to Steve and Sue’s place. Kendall took a nap, and Brian spent some time with Steve and Sue, while Brandon and I worked very hard on some important Santa-related business. 😉 We stayed for dinner and had some laughs imagining a Pirate Santa–a friend had tweeted us a picture of one, remembering an epic Twitter thread we had last year!

Roger recently told me that one of your Grandmothers passed away. I am so sorry and please accept my sympathy. I still miss my Grandmothers and think of them often. Is this the Grandmother that passed or was it your Mom’s mother?
Kendall what a pretty dress.
