I’d been so stressed out at work, burning the candle on both ends for longer than I care to remember, that I decided to take a personal day today. Originally I’d planned on just catching up on some posts here, but, as it turned out, I ended up with box tickets for today’s NCAA tournament games! Brandon decided to play hooky too, and we were there to witness the big upset, as Duke got knocked out of the running. It was fun, with a nice catered lunch (and an open bar!) Thanks to the VIP parking, we had an easy time leaving, and picked up the kids with time to spare. Also included, some pictures and a video of the kids dancing on the bed. Not sure how we got there, but the kids sure love some Outkast..!

The kids sure can keep time to the music. I remember burning the candle at both ends with career including 15 years of being on “call””and taking care of my family. I just had to cut myself some slack and carry-in meals and hire a house cleaner.
