At Brian’s after-school program at Laurel Hills, the kids get to earn play money that they can turn in for prizes or treats. Today, Brian came out sporting a new necklace shaped like a guitar pick, that said “Rock On!” He was pretty proud of it. 😉 At dinnertime, he realized that Kendall’s shirt was decorated with guitar picks, and he thought she should wear it. Aww! Kendall was quite pleased with this turn of events, I think she’d been a little jealous of it! Also, Brian’s watermelon, just because his spelling is so cute, and I’m so proud of him for sounding out such a big word. He was telling me that he knows watermelons are usually red on the inside, and the stripes usually go the long way, but this one is is a backwards watermelon (I guess it’s green on the inside?)
