Birthday Party, Alumni Game, More!

Today was a busy one!  The kids started off their morning with some marker art time.  Then, Kendall was off to a birthday party at My Gym for her classmate Nicklai.  Brandon and Kendall had a great time there, and Kendall took to all the activities really well!  Brandon said she outclassed all those other kids. 😉  This afternoon, we had some Lego time, and the kids made an awesome structure.  Then, we all went to the ‘Canes Alumni Game.  That’s a fun red-vs-white game, where some of the retired players come back, and some of the fans can get the chance to play on the ice with them.  The kids enjoyed cheering for both sides, and a good time was had by all.  Back at home, the kids were so cute, reading together, both in their gingerbread PJs.  It may be springtime, but they still enjoy wearing these and matching each other so much, I haven’t had the heart to take them out of rotation. 🙂
