Happy Mother’s Day! I had a nice one with my favorite people. They surprised me with a nice brunch at Fleming’s, and we had a great time, even if our kids’ active personalities aren’t exactly a fit for that sort of place. 😉 We decided that next time, we’ll make our reservation for after noon so we can order mimosas. That should help, right? 😉 Afterward, we went over to Laurel Hills and took a little nature walk by the pond and through the woods. Brian doesn’t remember that we walked that trail every day when he was a baby, of course, but this path certainly means a lot to me. Back at our place, I had some lovely flowers and gifts waiting for me. Kendall had her nap, of course, and afterward, the kids played some Just Dance which is always great for a laugh!
