Today we had grand plans to visit Steve and Sue around midday, but the kids were, let’s just say, unsuitable for public consumption in the afternoon. Naps were an absolute must. Not sure what was up with them, it was a pretty calm morning as things go, just breakfast, some crafts, feeding the hummingbirds, finishing up the Jedi Starfighter models.. Brandon was hard at work on glass shard abatement in the van until around 5pm. But, we did make it out to have a nice pizza dinner with Steve and Sue. The kids loved playing with Grandma’s toys and of course the contents of the special art supplies drawer! Video follows below, Kendall playing her “Happy Birthday / Open Your Present” game after breakfast this morning, and a still-sleepy post-nap Kendall who is excited to see Grandma Steve–ah, she means to say Grandpa Steve! (She was chanting their names and getting a bit mixed up!)
I think Brian looks so much like a young Brandon when he’s posing with those models.
