Sue and I went out to lunch with Mary Conroy today at Vivace. Mary is one of those wonderful kind souls, a dear friend of Sue’s who I’ve come to love and appreciate so much. She stayed with me overnight at Sue’s house, when I was looking after my dad in his last few days, and Sue had to spend the night away at the hospital herself. She brought us delicious food more times than I can count, and was just wonderful with the kids. I was happy to see her again today, and after all the heartache and stress of the past few weeks, it was nice to have a laugh and a tasty beverage (the Agrodolce, I highly recommend it!) Brian had hockey clinic this evening. Hard to believe he’ll be playing games in a few more weeks!
The adult beverage -sounds yummy sweet. Brian is growing up so fast.
