Saturday Fashion and Building

This morning, the boys were up and out early to go to another Lowe’s Build and Grow session.  Kendall was sounding so cute over the monitor, I decided to carry my camera with me when I went to get her.  She was in such a good mood!  (This isn’t always the case, but she’s always cute.  😉  She had pulled a sweater out of her drawer, so I guessed she wanted to wear it and the fancy purple dress it goes with.  Why not, right?  She was feeling fancy, so I tried making pigtails like her teachers do, but, they were a little lopsided (especially after she started tugging on them!)  We had a fun breakfast together, and I discovered she really likes Greek yogurt (it was supposed to be for me, but, she ended up with most of it!)  We had some Lego time after that, and she dumped out all of the people until she could find her favorite red baby.  Her other favorite, orange construction man, flew the zoo plane, as Kendall made the cutest high-pitched zoooooom!! sounds as she flew the plane around.  I could barely contain the giggles, she was so funny flying that plane!

Meanwhile, Brian was constructing a planter at Lowe’s (which is themed to go along with a movie called The Croods, which we haven’t seen).  He was very happy to bring it home to show Kendall!  The kids played together for awhile (yay, cardboard box!) and then Brian and I played with magnatiles while Kendall took her nap.  Brian noticed the reflection on the ceiling from the magnatiles–he called it our flower garden!  We had fun building it up and watching it move around on the ceiling as we moved the tiles, and as the sun moved.  Brian built another one of his Star Wars minikits with Brandon, and also helped me shell some peanuts on the porch.  Evidently this was tiring work for him, since he told me he needed to relax (and proceeded to dangle his feet off the porch!)

Sometimes I order greek yogurt from Royal Crest Dairy who deliver milk and other dairy products every Monday morning. It is good yogurt.
Grandpa Roger has many prisms hanging around the house and if the sunlight is just right they make rainbows of colors on the walls and ceilings, too.
Grandma Cheryl enjoyed watching Brian build a planter wearing that colorful Lowe’s apron. Grandpa Roger and Grandma Cheryl(before I retired) wear safety goggles in our work so nothing bad gets in our eyes and hurts them.
    Pretty purple dress, Kendall
