Today after school, Brian told us he wanted to go to the place where he could circle the pictures of what he wanted to eat on the menu. I knew that had to mean Chili’s–since the kids’ menu is on the coloring page they get. To entertain/help him decide, I had Brian circle the things he wanted last time we went to one. We didn’t have any other plans, so we went along with Brian’s plan. It was early enough that we were seated quickly, and Brian enjoyed picking out items for two kids’ meals (we let him pick for Kendall, too, since we knew they would share). Things went so well, we even decided to order dessert! Brian picked the chocolate lava cake (we might have influenced him a little..!) which was more than enough to share between the four of us. Kendall was pretty excited about this, too! All in all, a great start to the weekend. 🙂
I love their lava cake – good choice, Brian! It looks so yummy!!!
That’s a good idea to share dessert and it looks so chocolate delicious. Once in a great while Grandpa Roger and I make the Ghirardelli chocolate lava cakes – on their website – and serve it with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. That’s neat that kids can circle what they want on the menu.
