Tonight was a real peak experience for Brian! He got to go out to dinner and a movie with his best buddies, Ty and Drew! We’d been planning this trip to see Despicable Me 2 for a couple weeks, and the boys’ excitement was off the charts. It’s a Wednesday night, but we have the day off tomorrow for Independence Day, so it’s all good, even if we’re out past our bedtime. 🙂 We met up for dinner at Lynnwood Grill, and enjoyed some pretty fantastic pizza. Well, Brandon and Kendall and I did, Brian was so hyped up, he barely ate a thing! After dinner, Brandon and Kendall went home, and Ty’s mom handed off his little brother to their dad, and then we all headed into the theater. Brian and I got some Junior Mints, and Ty’s mom got popcorn and had lots of different snacks to share–so we had quite a time enjoying treats along with the movie! It was a really funny movie, and we all had a great time. Hope we can do it again soon!

Going to the movies – what a treat for kids. Roger and I sometimes reminisce about the times we went to the Eskin theatre in Richland Center to see movies such as Lilies of the Field, Old Yeller, Sound of Music and other movies of that time. Brian will remember the time he saw Despicable Me 2.
