Silly Siblings
Just some pics of the kids being silly today. 🙂 Screaming contests while biting the highchair toys, Kendall giving Brian some pretty aggressive pats to the head, and making some artwork together. It’s flip day, and Brian was pretty interested in the Lego Sphinx on his calendar! He was so cute, he said he knew about the Spinx, and he was pretty sure it came from Agent...

It was our last day at the beach, and we were all feeling a little down to be heading back to real life.. But, we made the most of the time we had. The kids enjoyed some time on the porch after breakfast. Brian was pretty absorbed in the iPad, as Kendall fully enjoyed the porch swing. I thought, hm, there’s a lesson for us grownups that tend to get absorbed in our devices here.. 😉 I will work on being more present. Brandon and I worked on packing up, while Brian made a blanket fort...

Brandon and I were zombies as the kids played as the sun came up, but lots of coffee and breakfast helped. 🙂 After breakfast, we saw that the tide had gone out, and Brian went on an impromptu nature walk with Grandma Sue. He carried his new net and explored the tidepools still in his pajamas, while Grandma taught him about...

Today was a truly epic adventure! We decided to take a ride on Grandpa Steve’s boat over to Cape Lookout. Brian got to visit the marina to retrieve the boat, and then we got everyone suited up and ready to go. It took just over an hour to make the trip. Kendall slept in my arms most of the way, I think the waves, engine noise, and restriction of the life jacket just put her right out. Brian was a little apprehensive at first, but quickly decided this was a super fun adventure! I...
