It was our last day at the beach, and we were all feeling a little down to be heading back to real life.. But, we made the most of the time we had. The kids enjoyed some time on the porch after breakfast. Brian was pretty absorbed in the iPad, as Kendall fully enjoyed the porch swing. I thought, hm, there’s a lesson for us grownups that tend to get absorbed in our devices here.. 😉 I will work on being more present. Brandon and I worked on packing up, while Brian made a blanket fort with Grandma Sue. Kendall tried to help us pack up, especially with the Legos she’s not supposed to play with yet. 😉 Later, she ended up falling asleep, and we got a later start than we intended, but hey.. Can’t complain about extra time at the beach.
