The Monkey Song (and Dance!)
One of Brian’s favorite songs on the CD from Grandpa Steve is what he calls the “Monkey Song”. It’s “Jungle Love” by Morris Day and the Time (from 1984), and it starts off with some fun monkey sounds.. But Brian really gets into the whole song. He can move and groove in his booster seat like you wouldn’t believe. Sometimes you just have to get into a lightsaber duel before bathtime! Brian likes the flash effect in these pics that makes it look like his lightsaber glows, and also his tough-guy faces. 🙂 Kendall loves her new Hello Kitty, almost as much as she enjoys playing the Sith...

I guess the boys were worn out–they both sacked out during story time....

I did it! It’s official! I’m a Red Hat Certified Architect. I’ve spent the last few months pursuing this certification pretty aggressively, taking a ton of classes and a series of practical exams. It’s hard to explain just how rare this cert is, and how difficult it is to achieve, if you’re not in the industry. It requires passing five multi-hour exams (on top of the certification I already held). My health and sanity have suffered a bit while I worked toward...
