Saturday Legos and Hockey
Brian had Lego club this morning, always a good time! He loves telling the group about his creation at the end, during presentation time. Brian had hockey clinic this afternoon, and Brandon saw that his venerable old skates are finally giving up on him. He’s worked so hard, they’re actually falling apart! 😉 We played downstairs this afternoon, and you can see Kendall’s hair, wild with static electricity! Happens a lot in the winter....

Gahh!! Snow day again today. There’s no snow outside our window, or in much of the area, but I suppose they are using an abundance of caution in case any slippery roads remain. The boys braved the “treacherous” conditions (ha! ha!) this evening to go to the hockey game. I’m sure they were glad to get out for awhile! It was sort of a long week. We’re pretty much over these useless snow days, without even any fun snow to play in....

Well, we had another snow day! Mostly due to icy roads, not any halfway decent snow. A hashtag has been started on Twitter about our multiple snow days in a row, #pancakeday. The kids built and built today, with Duplos, Magnatiles, anything and everything. The Magnatiles sure make some colorful designs in the afternoon sunlight. Kendall has decided she loves the Rubik’s cube, and insisted on cuddling with it at bedtime. So cute! It doesn’t look very snuggly to me, but she...

Snow day again today! Our stir-crazy kids spent much of the day playing Duplos together. Brian gave Kendall a new set of Duplos he picked out for her last time we were at the Lego store (really, this has to be the last set of Duplos we get!!) Kendall loves the Duplo babies so much, that when he saw there was a third style of baby, with a bottle even, he said we just had to get it. I was glad we had it today, it gave them something new to play with. 🙂 Brian made us his own version of...

We had a snow day today! Brandon and I tried to work, which is pretty stressful with two energetic kids. Even worse, the snow took forever to get started, and ended up not being any good for playing in. Oh well. The kids enjoyed staying in their PJs and we had a movie night tonight, enjoying our new big TV....

Today we continued to enjoy our Edible Arrangement with breakfast! What a treat, having chocolate-covered strawberries to start our day. Brian completed his crayon-resist Valentine–I love the stripes and XOXO pattern. This evening we had another great family dinner at Sue’s house. Kendall wanted to play with my scarf, and I let her. It was so long, I managed to wrap her up in it like a sari! My little maharani....
