Well, we had another snow day! Mostly due to icy roads, not any halfway decent snow. A hashtag has been started on Twitter about our multiple snow days in a row, #pancakeday. The kids built and built today, with Duplos, Magnatiles, anything and everything. The Magnatiles sure make some colorful designs in the afternoon sunlight. Kendall has decided she loves the Rubik’s cube, and insisted on cuddling with it at bedtime. So cute! It doesn’t look very snuggly to me, but she wouldn’t give it up for anything, though! Brandon made his famous baby back ribs tonight, so tender, they quite literally fall off the bone (even when he simply picks one up with tongs!)

Snow days are a blessing in a way. Time to be together. Living less than one mile from work (hospital) I never had a snow day and even had to come in for people who lived too far to come in bad weather. Extra shifts and sleep at the hospital- bummer.
