Today’s the 100th day of school! A little later than expected due to all the snow, but we got here! I don’t remember the 100th day being a big deal when I was a kid, but they use it as a teaching opportunity now. The kids have a snack that’s 10 pieces each of 10 different kinds of food, they could (optionally) dress like they are 100 years old, and the kids were asked to bring in 100 of a particular item. Tonight was the Hurricanes Kids’ Club party at PNC Arena! This was a pretty special event for Brian. We got to tour all around some of the behind-the-scenes areas at the stadium, including the locker room. Brian won an autographed puck in the raffle, and he collected autographs from some of his favorite players, and Stormy. But most importantly, he got to skate on the very ice where the ‘Canes play.
