Christmas Tees
I had the kids wear their Christmas T-shirts today since it’s almost that time..! I wanted to get photos of the graphics on each, but Kendall didn’t want to cooperate–I’ll have to try again another time to properly capture Hello Kitty! I love the design on Brian’s shirt, a ninja is offering instruction on how to be more stealthy to Santa and his companions. Brian and I had a good laugh about it!...

Here’s a few shots of the kids before school today! I thought Kendall was so cute in her outfit with her little backpack on. Brian was celebrating a special morning cup of hot cocoa–I guess Brandon caved under the incessant begging! 😉 The boy is all about the peppermint hot...

The 16th annual Skate with the Canes fundraiser was held tonight. It was a sell-out and this year’s event raised just under $40,000 for the Kids ‘N Community Foundation. Brian and I were attending this charitable event for the first time! Brian’s skating chops have improved to the point where I figured he could hold his own on the PNC Arena ice. This event is not being held long after Brian was cleared to skate by his Orthopaedist at Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic (coincidentally the...

Kendall has a new pink toothbrush, and is very proud of herself for brushing her teeth all by herself with it! I think she’s so cute in her little nightgown. 🙂 Also included, some great paintings that Brian did with Nana (check out the deer antlers and detailed trees and snowflakes!) Brian also made us a present, a paper hockey set and box of popcorn, all wrapped up in an...

Today we started building this year’s Winter Village addition, the new Lego Winter Market! Brian was so happy to get into a new set! He made a lot of his own creations with the parts, while Brandon and I ended up doing the bulk of the assembly. 😉 Once we had to reclaim the bulk of his parts, Brian moved onto other toys, and Kendall with him. They played cooking and restaurant with the toy food for quite awhile! Brian and Kendall played with Duplos as well, making tall houses and...

Tonight was the Goddard Family potluck! The kids were happy to play with some of their friends, and we were very thankful to not have to cook dinner or do dishes at home! Brandon and I made friends with some of the other parents and had a great time chatting with them–so much so, we barely took any photos at all. 🙂 There were lots of tasty treats, and I wish I’d managed to get the recipes for some amazing Andes mint brownies, and a delicious corn casserole with green...
