Beach Trip! Monday
You’d think the kids would sleep really well after such an exciting day yesterday.. But, as luck would have it, they were both up and wide awake at 6am–ouch! Today was a truly epic adventure! We decided to take a ride on Grandpa Steve’s boat over to Cape Lookout. Brian got to visit the marina to retrieve the boat, and then we got everyone suited up and ready to go. It took just over an hour to make the trip. Kendall slept in my arms most of the way, I think the waves, engine noise, and restriction of the life jacket just put her right out. Today was a super busy one! We started off bright and early at Brian’s reading class. Brian is so enthusiastic about participating and he really enjoys all the books! Next up, building fun at another Lowe’s Build and Grow session. Brian made a cool Toy Story themed race car.
