Friday Night Out
It’s Friday Night, and a Parent Night Out, and even though Brian had his Initiation to Hockey class, we didn’t want to miss out! I’m still recovering from surgery, but things seem a little better today and I thought I might be up for going out. I took it easy for awhile as Brandon took Brian to class after school. I took a couple photos of the fun felt items I’ve made while lying about in bed recovering. I thought I’d done a good job on those sugar wafers at...

Not to share TMI, but today I had a minor surgery–a NovaSure endometrial ablation. You probably don’t want to Google that, since there may be some photos you’d rather not see! As we usually do, we met up with the Orazi family early, and went to get biscuits for breakfast. The fair is usually not so crowded early in the morning, but this year, we could tell it was going to be a record-breaker–it was pretty crowded to start with! We had our favorite treats, visited our favorite displays, and many of our favorite activities. The PBS Kids...

Today, Kendall and I both wore Princess Leia t-shirts! I think hers is much cuter (it says “Self-Rescuing Princess”)! I should have been making a cake or pie for the Rootin’ Tootin’ bake sale tonight, but, being so sick, I just could not manage it (nor should I risk it!) So, Brandon helped me phone it in, by picking up a very cute pumpkin cake from Whole Foods. The kids were a little disappointed it wasn’t for them, but understood it was for a good...
