Not to share TMI, but today I had a minor surgery–a NovaSure endometrial ablation. You probably don’t want to Google that, since there may be some photos you’d rather not see! Suffice it to say, my “time of the month” had started to take up pretty much the whole month, and my Aunt Flo considered a month to be around 19 days. So, I was willing to try this procedure to see if I can get any relief. Here’s a selfie I sent to Brandon while waiting for the drugs to take effect (I didn’t remember taking this at all!) After three Xanax and whatever was in the shot they gave me, I was awake but not really all here during the procedure, which hurt (but only for 90 seconds or so). There’s a chance it won’t help at all, but, I’m desperate enough to try. I slept most of the afternoon, and was feeling more or less okay when everyone got home. There were some good apples in the produce box today, and Brian made me take a photo of this one! He said it was too beautiful to eat, but then again, he didn’t want it to decay, either. So, he decided to eat it, but only after I took the picture. 🙂

Hope the procedure helped. Everyone is different post-op. In the past, I was usually a mess from the narcotics and took twice as long to recover than most.
