Today was the long-awaited Fun in the Sun event at Root! Brian was pretty excited about getting to go to school in his swimsuit, knowing there will be a lot of fun, messy, and wet activities today! Happy Mother’s Day! I had a nice one with my favorite people. They surprised me with a nice brunch at Fleming’s, and we had a great time, even if our kids’ active personalities aren’t exactly a fit for that sort of place. 😉 We decided that next time, we’ll make our reservation for after noon so we can order mimosas. Today we celebrated Star Wars day in a couple different ways! Nana Rosemary watched the kids for a little bit and let us sneak away for a nice lunch together at Firebirds Rocky Mountain Grill. She took the kids to one of their favorite places for lunch, Subway! Happy Easter! We sure had an awesome one. We started off the day with the kids getting their Easter baskets and presents, and they were so surprised! We had collected a number of really cool presents for them, including a Lego Star Wars Battle of Hoth game that wasn’t even release in the US.
