Today we put up our pumpkin lights! That’s always fun and helps us get into the Halloween spirit. Hopefully it doesn’t annoy the neighbors too much. We also made some more indoor Halloween decorations, this time a sparkly bat, a pumpkin owl, and a Halloween tree! Brian and I had made these bead name banners awhile ago, and I surprised the kids by hanging them on their doors today. I can’t bring myself to take down the Baby Perkins button that Rosemary had put on a baby shower gift for Brian so long ago..! And Brian of course has put a number of Star Wars stickers on his door, so they’re pretty well decorated at this point. 😉 Brian wanted to spend the entire day in his Spider-Man pajamas, and we said that was okay. Sometimes you just need a pajama day. After nap, we let Kendall try on the hat from her Halloween costume, and to our surprise, she liked it! We thought she’d probably pull it off immediately, but she was pretty proud of it and wore it for awhile. We did some chalk decorating of the driveway while Brandon worked on the lights. It started to sprinkle as we were finishing up, so we headed inside, where Brian pretended to be a frog and jumped all around the room yelling “ribbit! ribbit!” and sticking his tongue out to catch flies. Kendall thought this was so hilarious, and tried to do it herself!
