Today we mostly stayed home, and Brian built his new Coast Guard plane! He was pretty interested to learn about the pontoons. He did get distracted along the way, building his own creations–but eventually he saw it through and he was really glad. We played outside just a bit, and a little girl who was walking in the neighborhood with her aunt came by to play with Brian. Abby was really enthusiastic about seeing Brian’s toys, and he was more than happy to tell her about all of them! She even asked her aunt if she could come inside, and even though Brian was still in his PJs and the first floor was pretty well destroyed, I said okay. She liked seeing all of Brian’s Legos, and I bet he was glad he’d finished that plane so he could show it off. 😉 She really liked the Hello Kitty material I’d bought to make a blanket for Kendall–now I think I’m going to have to make Abby one, too! Kendall was really into this musical Dragon Tales book today. It only plays one tune, but she pushed that button over and over and over and.. I think we might have to put that one on a high shelf for awhile! We went to Chubby’s Tacos for dinner–it was pretty much the only way to convince Brian to get dressed today. 😀
