Today we decided to head out to Shelley Lake to feed the ducks! It had been awhile, and we had a ton of bread heels to distribute. It started feeling like fall today, so Kendall wore her first long sleeves of the year and her sparkly red corduroy pants. I’d been waiting months for her to be able to wear this shirt! It’s an adorable parody of the classic AC/DC logo, but it says AB/CD instead, to fit in with the preschool set. 😉 It makes me chuckle! It attracted a lot of attention from the other folks at the park today, so many people we passed laughed and told us, “I just have to say, her shirt is awesome!” Brian and Kendall were picture-perfect brother and sister today, even if my photos are lacking in quality..! So many times they were mirror-images of each other, both walking with their hands clasped behind them.. Brian walking with his arm around his little sister.. Such beautiful children and precious moments, these pictures really don’t do it justice! We enjoyed feeding the ducks and turtles on this beautiful day–well, most of us! Kendall wasn’t really into throwing the bread into the water–maybe that seemed a little strange to her. She tried to eat it herself now and again, but mostly just watched the animals. The brilliant afternoon sunlight and cool breeze let us know, fall is here!
