Well, it’s the end of an era–today was Brian’s last day at Goddard School. How was his last day at Goddard after his first day of Kindergarten? It’s a quirk of the way Kindergarten assessments and assignments are done. Yesterday, he had a full day of assessments, today there’s no Kindergarten while the teachers crunch the numbers (Brandon and I like to imagine they have a draft.) 😉 Tomorrow, it’s back to Kindergarten where we will find out his official teacher assignment. But, before that, it’s back to Goddard school for one last day. We took a few pictures with Mr. Bill and Selah this morning, feeling sentimental, I guess! We asked Brian what kind of treat did he want us to bring for his class, and he requested the mint chocolate chip mini ice cream sandwiches from Trader Joe’s. They’re delicious and about the size and shape of Oreos–so they’re a good size for kid treats. The class all seemed to enjoy them, and after their treat, Ms. Tanisha put on some music for the kids to dance to. I’m so glad I had the camera ready–they were hilarious dancing to Party Rock Anthem! Check out the video below. The kids shared the bath tonight, and put in all the toys–and I do mean all of the toys! We asked Brian to help pick them all up–he arranged them in Kendall’s tub and asked me to take a picture of his creation.
