Kendall’s class invited family members to come in for lunchtime today, and since Brian had the day off from school, I thought it would be fun to bring him along. Brandon helpfully made lunches for all three of us, so we were ready! Kendall was very happy to see us, and Brian felt pretty special to be in attendance as the big brother. We enjoyed our lunch at the tiny toddler-sized table, and stayed until naptime. Kendall resisted her nap mat some (shocker!) but her teacher helpfully swooped in to rock her for a bit, so Brian and I could make our escape.
At home, Brian and I occupied ourselves with some Thanksgiving-themed crafts! We made a wreath out of felt shapes, and some foam-and-jewel ornaments. We plan to give these to Sue and Steve tomorrow! Also included, photos of Brian’s Thanksgiving-related art works from school! I love the “Save a turkey, eat more kupcacs” but I especially love that he’s thankful for his sister, mom and dad, and his teachers. 🙂
