It’s the day after Thanksgiving, and there’s no holding it back anymore–it’s time to unleash the holiday madness! We brought down some of the decorations, and I gave the kids a present I’d picked up for them back in June.. Some Christmas-themed Star Wars figures! I thought they were really cute, with wreaths and Christmas lights wrapped around blasters, and stacks of presents on top of lightsabers..! The kids were quite pleased with their gift, and enjoyed unboxing and lining up the characters. Kendall kept running off with her favorites, much to Brian’s chagrin..! We managed to at least assemble the tree today, and then Brian and Brandon were off to the hockey game. Kendall and I had a fun time at home, enjoying her birthday gifts in the tub. After her bath, I had the realization–I’d neglected to put her birthday girl pajamas into rotation! Amid all the chaos, I guess I just forgot about them, having bought them so many months ago. Well, no time like the present, so I dressed her up in them and she was quite pleased with them! She loved the cupcakes, and insisted on completing the look with her sparkly Hello Kitty shoes. 🙂
