Today was Kendall’s 2-year checkup! She enjoyed seeing the turtles and fish at the doctor’s office, and was reasonably happy to look at the books while we waited. She’s the picture of health, of course, and smart as can be–perfect spot on the growth chart, and the doc checked off all the things she should be doing by now and more. I have to admit, I’ve got more than a little Mom-pride over her words and speaking in complete sentences! 😀 Kendall had to get a couple shots, but she was so brave.. She turned red and made a very annoyed face–and then let out a big sigh and relaxed. She didn’t cry one bit! Amazing, Kendall! After school today we were happy to receive our “band fruit”–a box of oranges and grapefruits we ordered from our neighbor, to support his middle school’s concert band. The kids love their oranges! The grapefruits are probably going to be all mine. 😉 We watched the hockey game on TV and Kendall wowed us again, saying “Let’s Go Canes!” We didn’t think we’d be able to get her saying it again, but she did! 🙂 Always copying her brother–Brian really helps her to learn things so quickly! He’s as proud of her accomplishments as we are.
