We felt like getting out today, so packed everyone up and headed to Durham’s Life+Science Museum. Kendall and Brian used the new Hello Kitty carseat blankets I made last night! The kids are pretty familiar with the museum at this point, and they had a great time showing Grandpa all of their favorite exhibits. The museum changes things up pretty regularly, so there were some new surprises in addition to some favorites. Brian still loves the boats, and Kendall still loves the mist/cloud maker and other weather-related exhibits. We visited the dinosaurs outside, even though it was chilly. The kids enjoyed building with the giant foam blocks, and Brian had a great time constructing a spaceship to test out at the wind column. We got lunch at the cafe (along with every other museum patron, it seemed!) and it was tasty, even if it took awhile. 😉 We stayed for a really long time, but eventually had to head home for Kendall’s nap. This evening, the boys went out to the hockey game, and I stayed home and played with Kendall. She had a great time cooking and shopping with the new play kitchen. She insisted on cuddling with Boba Fett at bedtime! He doesn’t look all that cuddly to me, but she just has to have him! Maybe I’ll see if there’s a softer version out there. 🙂

We watched the video of Kendall singing Mameshiba. It was nice to see Roger with the kids.
