Today, Brian had the day off, due to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday, but the rest of us didn’t! I stayed home with him and tried to work at the same time, with varying degrees of success. 😉 Brian stayed busy, setting up shop and playing store for quite awhile, making some Play-Doh creations, and my favorite project–painting and building these wooden cars. It took a lot of patience, to paint each piece, wait for it to dry, glue things together in the right order..! But he did it, with just a little help from me. We still have some stickers that we can decorate the cars with another day, but we sure accomplished a lot! Also included, Kendall with her breakfast smoothie (yum!) and one of Brian’s favorite treats, apple slices with peanut butter and mini marshmallows. This was a Halloween treat that he learned about at school (see, it makes a funny-looking smile!) But it’s delicious any time of year. 🙂 We made (and ate!) so many goofy grins today, we lost count!
