Brian is really, really into Connect Four right now. He plays it with his friends at Laurel Hills after school, and he is serious about it–he plays to win! We got the iPad app, but also had to run out and pick up our own set at Target. I am secretly glad that he seems to like the physical game the most. 🙂 I have taught him some of my tricksy moves, and he can stump Brandon pretty regularly now! We have to console him, telling him it’s just a game, not to take it personally..! Also included, Kendall with her yummy peach yogurt from Trader Joes (it’s really great–she is lucky I don’t take all the peach ones!), and a pic of a nice delivery we received of bacon mac-and-cheese–complete with a calling card, so we can re-order this lovely meal (from Brian, of course.) School opened on a 2-hour delay today due to the threat of snow and ice–which didn’t even materialize. Oh well! It was a nice chance to have breakfast together. 🙂

I did not understand the bacon mac until I saw it was plastic. Grandma likes lemon yogurt the best but peach is pretty yummy, too. No idea how to play Brian’s game but it looks like it is a great game to stimulate the brain.
