This morning, I had a haircut appointment, and Brandon had the kids. He couldn’t get an appointment at our usual Lowes for Build and Grow this weekend, and found himself heading to Knightdale. He thought Rosemary and Sytse might want to see the kids, and gave them a call. Of course they did, and luckily, they were available! Sytse helped Brian build his birdhouse, and Rosemary helped take care of Kendall. This afternoon, Brian had skating lessons, and I had Kendall. She wasn’t too keen on napping, but did enjoy dressing herself in as much Hello Kitty clothing as possible. To complement her Kitty shirt and hairbow, she chose her new Kitty tutu, socks, and sparkly ballet flats–she was super excited to see that they even have Kitty on the soles of the shoes! She loves the Boba Fett keychain light that we picked up at Target. She caught me taking some of Brian’s smaller clothes out of rotation, and declared that a couple of things were now hers, including a bright green Cars t-shirt. Brian saw her wearing it when he got home and said it was cool, she could have it now. 🙂 The boys brought us smoothie and coffee deliveries, how sweet of them!
