It’s our first full day at the beach, and we mostly took it easy and had a relaxing day. That’s exactly what you need sometimes, right? The kids played inside this morning, with the penguin bowling set, and with the Lego Beach House set. Kendall debuted some of her new summertime pajamas and was quite proud of herself. The kids both have new Lego-themed crocs–those were quite a hit! It’s still a little chilly this early in spring, but it was a lovely day to be outside. Brian played with his Star Wars themed fishing rod and practiced catching the foam fish. This evening, we went out for a seafood dinner, and while we had to suffer through a really ridiculous wait, the food was good, and the kids enjoyed the decor. Brian decided he likes crab legs now–that’s my boy right there. 😉 The kids shared a bubble bath once we got back, and were so silly and cute playing together. Also included on the video, Kendall has a serious thing about opening her own van door these days. You can see Brandon surreptitiously helping her out with the key fob–she has to think she’s really done it, or else it’s meltdown city! 🙂
