Today was a pretty fun one for Brian! He got to visit the Lego store to get his friend Eli a birthday present, and he built a pretty epic ship while he was there. He went to Eli’s party at Dave & Buster’s, his first time going there. He had a blast, by all accounts. 🙂 After the boys were back home, we decided to keep the party going and head to Chili’s for dinner tonight (Brian’s choice!) Chili’s now has these tablets on each table, where you can pay your bill, order dessert, and.. play games. So basically, the boys were in their own world during dinner. 😉 (Update, 8/31/14: I now curse these darn things, despite the convenience–this started Brian’s obsession with Field Runners, what he calls his “army game”.) We did get the awesome-as-usual chocolate lava cake for dessert–Kendall was definitely a fan!

Ghirardelli website has a recipe for a yummy chocolate lava cake that I made in a 6 cup ramekin pan.
