Today was a pretty wacky day for a Tuesday–we started out taking the kids to the dentist. (No cavities–yay!) Afterward, we took Kendall to school, and we let Brian accompany us to vote before dropping him off at school. We think it’s important to show him examples of us doing our civil duty! Brian talked his way into getting an “I Voted” sticker–hopefully he’ll be as enthusiastic when he’s eighteen! After work, Steve and Sue watched the kids and Brandon and I got to go out to dinner! For dessert, we got the $8 slice of cake I’d had my eye on at the hipster coffee joint–made with Videri dark chocolate and salted caramel. So worth it!! Next time, I might not share. I might even growl if anyone gets too close. As I picked up my stuff at the office, I thought the setting sun through all the office glass looked cool–and the glowing letters saying “YAHTZEE” just made me giggle. Maybe it was the chocolate. 😉
