Welcome to June! It’s not officially summer yet, but today was a nice one. 🙂 Brandon took the kids this afternoon, and I went out to lunch and did a little shopping with my friend Jennie. We had a nice sushi lunch and bought some nice-smelling things at The Body Shop. It was a really rare treat to get out on my own with a friend! I’ve been having a rough time of it at work, thanks to being stuck on a death march project. So, this escape was just what I needed. Brandon took the kids out for smoothies, and then over to Root for some bike and trike riding! It looks like they had a nice time as well. They came home to find me and Jennie playing some Rock Band after our outing, and Brandon and the kids joined in for a few songs! Good times. 🙂
