Kendall’s Books

Kendall just can’t wait to be the Buttercup Fairy for Halloween, and she seems to really like the Flower Fairies.  My tiny books from when I was a kid have only a limited selection, and Buttercup herself doesn’t appear in them.  It seems that a few years ago, the estate of Mary Cicely Barker went on a pretty major publishing spree, and this cute boxed set of hardcover books was part of that.  It’s out of print now, and I didn’t expect to find a decent used copy for a reasonable price–but, eBay to the rescue!  I picked it up for about 10% of what I’d seen this set usually go for. 🙂  Kendall was pretty happy to receive it!  Also included, the kids in their matching Fresh Beat Band t-shirts, on the way to school, and one of Brian’s epic battle scene setups.  🙂
