This morning, Brian was playing with Commander Fluffy, and dressed him up in the Carolina Hurricanes hockey outfit that Nana gave him as a birthday present! Funny, because we planned on going back to Build-A-Bear today! After Brian’s trip to Lowes for another Build-and-Grow session, that is. Today he built a cool pair of binoculars! They actually kind of work, too. 😉 I played with Kendall until the boys returned, then we were off to Build-a-Bear! Brian got to stuff his Toothless, and Kendall got to make her own bear, and dress it up like Rapunzel! Toothless got a cool roar sound, and Rapunzel bear got the song “Let It Go” from Frozen. Kendall also got a box of Tangled board books today–that was one of the “little sister” presents I’d gotten her, in case she got really jealous about Brian’s birthday presents (it wasn’t an issue, so she got the books today, just for fun!) She really loves them, and they’re short enough to read all four, and convenient for lots of situations, so I’m glad I picked those up for her. She loves books in a box! Brian’s old Thomas and Curious George sets are favorites of hers, too. The kids topped off an already busy day with a dance party in our room! They begged to hear the “Move It Move It” song and the “Way-Oh” song, which they know from hockey games. They brought all sorts of light-up toys (even their blinking toothbrushes!) to add to the fun. 😉

Wow the energy expended on the music videos. It is amazing they can settle down and sleep. I had never heard these songs before. I had heard of Build-A-Bear before.
