Rocks!

After the van got broken into, Brian expressed some interest in rocks–spurred on by questions about the type of rock that was used to smash the window, I guess. 🙂  When I saw this rock set in the Scholastic catalog, I thought it would be a fun way for him to explore a bit about geology.  As it turned out, both kids really liked the rock kit, especially the tiny little magnifying glass!
